*Safety*

- Wear a dust mask.
- Wear safety glasses.

*Rotate Nozzle*

1. Unplug the sandblaster
1. Find a 1/8" Allen key in the maintenance cart.
1. Unlock the carbide nozzle at the front end of the spray gun using the allen key, so that it can rotate freely.
1. Rotate the carbide nozzle 1/4 turn clockwise (as looking down the barrel - but don't actually look down the barrel).
1. Lock the carbide nozzle in place using the Allen key.

*Inspect the Spray Gun and Tube*

Inspect all around the body of the spray gun and the tube below it for holes.

If any holes are found, red tag the sandblaster and file a maintenance report.

*Notes*

Rotating the nozzle extends the life of the nozzle.
