Service manual: https://drive.google.com/file/d/16HFrtwBzy-s0uS8aojnePJ2yyeupkZX2/view?usp=drive_link

*Tools/Materials Required*

- General purpose oil
- Light household oil (sewing machine oil)

*Clean Lower Guard*

1. Unplug the saw. (We want to eliminate the possibility of unexpected startup.)
2. Clean the blade guard with a damp cloth.

Warning: Do not use solvents on the guard. They could make the plastic cloudy and
brittle.

*Remove Sawdust*

1. Wipe down the saw body with a dry cloth.
2. Vacuum all around the saw, including slides (top, behind, and under).
3. Vacuum the scoop behind the saw of any dust or chips.

*Lubricate the Saw*

1. Apply general purpose oil to the chop pivot.
2. Use light household oil (sewing machine oil) on metal-to-metal or metal-to-plastic contact areas on the central pivot of the plastic guard. (Lubricate as required for smooth, quiet operation. Avoid excessive oil, to which saw dust will cling.)
