Where

  • 181.5" x 3" sandpaper for each drum. The general rule of thumb is to obtainsand materials,a consumables,workpiece with progressively higher grit numbers, with no one grit increase of more than 50. Avoid skipping grits; the larger the grit increase, the harder it will be to remove the scratches from the previous grit. Recommended grit combination of 80 + 120, or 100 + 150
    • 36, extra coarse: rough sawn boards, thickness sanding, glue removal
    • 60, coarse: thickness sanding, glue removal
    • 80–100, medium: removing planer marks and tooling.

    • 120–180, fine: finish sanding
  • 3/4" strapping tape for securing the sandpaper to each drum
  • Motor brushes (P1066Z039V4-1) are considered to be consumable. They should both be replaced when they measure under 1/4" in length (they start at 5/8"), or when the motor no longer reaches full power.
