Required*

- General purpose oil
- Light household oil (sewing machine oil)

*Clean Lower Guard*

2. Clean the blade guardcleaned with avacuum damp cloth.

Warning: Do not use solvents on the guard. They could make the plastic cloudy and
brittle.

*Remove Sawdust*

1. Wipe down the saw body withor a dry cloth.
2.rag Vacuumas allneeded aroundto thekeep saw, including slides (top, behind, and under).
3. Vacuum the scoop behind the sawfree of anydust. dustYellow orplastic chips.

*Lubricate the Saw*

1. Apply general purpose oil to the chop pivot.
2. Use light household oil (sewing machine oil)panel on metal-to-metalwork orsurface metal-to-plasticshould contactbe areasremoved onif thethere central pivot of the plastic guard. (Lubricate as required for smooth, quiet operation. Avoid excessive oil, to whichis saw dust willbuild cling.)
or debris up underneath. 

Check the sliding rails, if there is resistance, use dry teflon lube.
