# CNC router dust collector - check interface between filter and bag

### Safety

- <span data-sheets-root="1" style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal;">Wear a dust mask. (If you do not have your own, disposable masks are available in the custodial room.)</span>
- <span data-sheets-root="1" style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal;">Wear safety glasses.</span>

### Check and clean interface

1. <span data-sheets-root="1" style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal;">Remove the top filter from the dust collector using the handle at the top.</span>
2. <span data-sheets-root="1" style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial; font-style: normal;">Visually inspect and brush any collected dust or debris resting on top of the funnel/cone area into the bag.  
    </span>
